When my family joined me earlier in the year we started house hunting and were immediately attracted to The Lakes Tauranga because of the rural aspect yet proximity to shops and city attractions.
With our two teenagers and our older daughter arriving later we really needed a 4-bedroom home and after looking at a variety of options we decided to deal with Universal Homes as it was one of their designs that we liked the most.
Price was the deciding factor for us really, we just love the house, the landscaping around us and being able to see cows on the hillsides surrounding the Lakes.
We also appreciate the 'old fashioned neighbourhood values' and have developed great friendships with our neighbours.

I purchased my first house-and-land package under construction by Universal Homes Limited in the Karaka Lakes subdivision earlier last year.

This is our second Universal Home. The first was a spec house in the popular subdivision of Atherton Heights. We watched as a new subdivision was developed and we decide to take advantage of this situation and do a design and build.
